Pearls..

I love freshwater pearls. In 1993 I lived and worked in Hong Kong making jewellery where pearls were found in abundance and that is where I fell in love with them. The beautiful pearl is at the heart of my jewellery, and of every design, in every collection. No two pearls are the same and each stone has a different shape and lustre, each design a different way or spirit in which it can be worn. They are the most alluring of gems. Here is a wonderful sample of me using the unusual and striking biwa freshwater pearls, aquamarines, slate and rock crystals. Hong Kong was a wonderful and vibrant place to be, but all my jewellery tools rusted in the humidity!

Beach walks

Life in Cornwall is now getting back to some sort of 'normality' It has been a difficult time for everyone, in so many different ways. But seaside walks, with views like this have managed to keep me focused and inspired. This time has made me appreciate even more where I live, the job I have, my family and friends.

Online Store open

We are now in May and our lives in every way have been altered due the Corona Virus. We have all had to adapt to those changes even though at times it causes huge anxiety and stress. I feel very blessed that I can help ease those worries by being able to make and design in my studio. The online store remains open as I work from home and have been very busy with orders and commissions. This contrasting leather, pebbles and aqua sea glass bracelet was for a 3rd wedding anniversary and something new for me. I love the way it has turned out and will be making more along these lines. Covid-19

In these challenging and usual times, birthdays and things to celebrate are still happening. Everyone always loves a little gift, particularly now, to cheer us up and know we are loved. I am very lucky to have my studio and workbench at home so can continue to make jewellery and take orders as usual from my website. Keep Strong and Stay Safe.
