Pearl with adjuster

This new design with sliding bead allows you to adjust the length of the chain. This piece was for a 30th birthday present from a customer wanting a classic yet timeless design. Using the adjustable bead gives the wearer the choice to wear the necklace at any length. Perfect!

Sea Glass ring

This is my first attempt at making a silver ring set with aquamarine coloured sea glass. Due to the uneven surface and shape it made for a fairly challenging commission. But I think the outcome is beautiful and looks stunning when worn. My next attempt will be to set silver or gold leaf behind the sea glass to add extra lustre and luxury. Watch this space!

New designs on the website

I have spent a few weeks photographing my jewellery and updating my website with the new designs. The 28mm f/3.5 Macro lens that I used has specialised ring lights which removes darkness and shadows and really helps capture the detail of each piece. Using my light box, with natural lighting and a daylight lamp I hope I have managed some good photographs that do justice to my jewellery.

First Commission for 2018

Loved doing this commission. The client sourced the granite lined pebbles and slate from his local beach and I added semi-precious stones to create this stunning necklace inspired by the reflections and colours of the Cornish sea. The stones used were aquamarines, rock crystals, freshwater pearls and aqua coloured sea glass. I think she was happy!
